Apart from our standard impact idlers such as retractable, jack-down and garland end-buffer idlers, LORBRAND can offer various “bed” type designs;

 

Garland Idler Bed

Garland idler beds offer low wear, high impact absorbing options for transfer areas. The risk of belt damage is minimised due to the absorption of impact energy by the movement of the support components. Rollers are available in high mass steel, PU impact disc and thick rubber disc options.

Bed sections have a modular design so that multiple sections can be joined for longer feeding areas.

Impact Bar – Roller Bed

Combination roller and impact bar bed design improves side sealing and spillage at the sealing skirts without sliding wear at the higher-loaded central portion of the belt. Rollers with extra thick high impact rings are fitted to custom sized rollers locked in place with keeper plates.

Impact Bar Slider Bed

Impact bar slider beds offer a high degree of impact absorption at low belt deflections resulting in minimal spillage at skirting. Beds can be fitted with “lead-in” and “lead-out” rollers to aid in lining up the bed with the required belt line.

Comments:

  1. Height H to be approx. 12mm lower than normal belt line (from surrounding idlers)
  2. Client to confirm with belt supplier that the installed belt is suitable for the resultant impact loads
  3. Availabe in bar lenghts of 1200 and 1500mm
  4. Can be supplied with different dimensions to suit existing conveyor structure
